Information for questions about cannabis

The consultation on the new Cannabis Products Act is due to start at the end of August. We are looking forward to the wording of the draft law and will discuss it in our policy group.

In the near future, there will therefore be several media articles on the subject of hemp, cannabis, weed, THC and the proposed new legal provisions.

• Repression against cannabis

We have been providing legal information on the subject of hemp and the law in Switzerland for 30 years: number of prosecutions, development of the intensity of repression, testimony, level of punishments.

• Legal distribution of cannabis

We operate one of the distribution points of the Zurich pilot project “Züri Can” and now have two years of experience with these legal products and the legal, closely regulated purchase by 125 active members from all walks of life.

• Draft Cannabis Products Act

What do we think is good, what is problematic? How realistic is the implementation? How do the various groups rate this proposal? Who will support it?
