Driver's license, case 1

This is one of the first cases handled under the new zero tolerance after Jan. 1, 2005. We can trace here the main stages from the police control to the court decision. Likewise, we publish here the documents coming from the Road Traffic Office. A facsimile with the results of the blood control is also available. The court decision formulates some clear statements regarding THC in blood and driving. Especially absurd is that the specific medical examination finds „no abnormalities“ and yet a conviction is issued. Solely because of THC traces in the blood, which are close to the detection limit. This means that not only those who are effectively impaired are taken out of circulation, but also people who are obviously capable of driving.
