There will be no CannaTrade this year, but the Buds and Beats cannabis festival.

We will have a small stand there (number 22) and will be handing out information material. Our Sven will give an input on the topic of legalization together with Lukas from IG Hanf: The draft law should be available in the summer and the consultation process should start. We want to prepare for this in terms of content and personnel! This lecture/workshop should also make a contribution to this.

On May 31, 2025, Zurich will be floating on a green cloud - the Buds and Beats Festival will celebrate its premiere in Halle 622. This unique cannabis festival invites visitors to discover and enjoy the many facets of the hemp plant.

On an area of over 3,000 m², guests can expect a varied experience with different themed areas, the so-called “Zones”.

The CBD Zone presents the variety of CBD flowers, hash and cosmetics, while the smoking zone offers the right accessories for enjoyment.

The Medical Zone provides information on the medical use of cannabis, while the Pilot Project Zone offers insights into the legal sources of cannabis within the Swiss pilot projects.

The Grow Zone provides everything you need to know about growing cannabis, and in the Hemp Zone you can explore the many uses of hemp in food, clothing and sustainable products.

The Food Zone provides culinary highlights with delicacies from all over the world, while the Game Zone delights with activities such as Mario Kart or the legendary Joint Roll Contest.

The Beach Zone with sun loungers and a relaxed atmosphere promises a vacation atmosphere in the middle of Zurich. In the Vape'n'Dab Zone, guests learn about the art of dabbing, while the Wellness Zone invites you to relax with yoga and high-quality CBD products.

In addition, the Talk Zone offers talks and workshops on topics such as homegrowing, hash production and the medical use of cannabis.

In the Music Zone, live acts and DJs from the hip-hop, techno and R'n'B genres will provide the right beats. The top-class line-up consists of Juli Lee (techno), Jeyless (UK rap), Jordan Parat (CH rap), Juste Miles (French rap), LieVin (CH rap), MC Hero (CH rap), Nayla (German rap), Noa Faith (R'n'B) and Valdemar + Falco (psytrance/techno). Cali P (Host of CannaSwissCup) and Visu (Event-Host & Host of Joint Roll Contest) will enrich the festival between the live acts, together with DJ The $tone (Urban) and JR The G & Friends (All Styles) on the turntables.

A special highlight is the CannaTrade B2B Barbecue, which will take place on May 30, 2025 from 17:00 to 22:00. This is where the Swiss cannabis scene meets with international companies to exchange ideas and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
