Acceptance of driver's license by police

If a rapid test is positive for THC degradation products and/or abnormalities are detected by the police, the driver's license can be confiscated by the police on the spot. This is not obligatory, sometimes the driver's license is also left (because only the blood test provides clarity and until the results are available, weeks can pass). In both cases, the road traffic licensing authority decides later on how to proceed.
