====== Parliamentary initiative ====== The parliamentary initiative of [[https://www.parlament.ch/de/biografie/heinz-siegenthaler/4146|Heinz Siegenthaler (Die Mitte)]] wants to legally re-regulate cultivation, production, trade and consumption of cannabis containing THC according to the recommendations of the [[https://hanflegal.ch/eksf|Federal Commission on Narcotic Drugs (EKSF)]]. ((The EKSF has been replaced, among others, by the "Federal Commission on Addiction and Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases (EKSN)" as of 2020)). **Status:** After the National Council Commission for Social Security and Health ([[https://www.parlament.ch/de/organe/kommissionen/sachbereichskommissionen/kommissionen-sgk|SGK-N]]), the Commission for Social Security and Health of the Council of States ([[https://www.parlament.ch/de/organe/kommissionen/sachbereichskommissionen/kommissionen-sgk|SGK-S]]) has now also approved the initiative on October 18/19, 2021 ([[https://www.parlament.ch/press-releases/Pages/mm-sgk-n-2021-04-30.aspx|press release SGK-N]] and [[https://www.parlament.ch/press-releases/Pages/mm-sgk-s-2021-10-19.aspx|press release SGK-S]]). Next, the SGK-N will prepare a draft decree within two years. This business was written off in June 2020 because it was not conclusively dealt with in the Council within two years. Compared to the 2018 business, however, the current business has a much better chance with 40 co-signers.
