===== 30.07.2025 – Parliamentary initiative: start of the consultation process ===== {{:aktuelles:aktuell_220408_bundeshaus.jpg?185&direct }} On July 3-4, the National Council's Social Security and Health Committee ([[https://www.parlament.ch/en/organe/committees/specialist-committees/committees-sshc|SSHC-N]]) once again discussed the draft for a new **Cannabis Products Act** (business [[https://www.parlament.ch/de/ratsbetrieb/suche-curia-vista/geschaeft?AffairId=20200473|20.473]]). It has now completed its work and the **consultation process** is due to begin **at the end of August**. It is asking the National Council to extend the deadline for dealing with the matter by a further two years ([[https://www.parlament.ch/press-releases/Pages/mm-sgk-n-2025-07-04.aspx?lang=1031|press release]]).
